I started this firm with my dad, so from day one, it’s always been about family. Loyalty. Honesty. A deep belief in doing right by people.

I first learned taxes as a teenager, sitting beside my dad, asking questions, soaking it all in. I was lucky enough to work side by side with him until 2015. Even though I was young, he trusted me—really trusted me—to bring something new to the table. While he mastered the details and audits, I helped us make the leap from Lotus 1-2-3 (yes, the old DOS system!) to Excel—something we still laughed about for years. Our strengths were different, but together they were the perfect match.

That collaboration—that bond—is what Sage Abacus was built on.

Now, as the sole owner and a proud woman business owner, I’ve found my own purpose within the foundation my dad gave me. Sage Abacus isn’t just about taxes—it’s about holding space for people. It’s about empathy, empowerment, and clarity.

We especially love supporting women in business—helping them really understand their deductions, save money, and feel confident in their finances. And it’s incredibly important to me that we give back, creating jobs for women in the Philippines, my father’s home country. It’s my way of honoring where we came from while building something new.
